Model of the Astano Shipyard from the bridge of As Pías. It started as a private company founded by José María González Llanos. Towards the end of the 1960s Astano specialised in the construction of oil tankers like the Arteaga. This shipyard currently belongs to Navantia and it has two 337-metre-long slipways, two dry docks and a gantry crane that can lift up to 800 tons. Scale 1:1000.
