Recovered parts of the Santa María Magdalena wreckage. Built in 1773 in the Esteiro slipways, it sank due to a storm the night from 2 to 3 november 1810 in the Viveiro estuary. Around 800 men died, making it the greatest shipwreck in Galician history.

In 2018 the pieces had to undergo a restoration process due to an infestation of the xylophaga Teredo Navalis, suffered during its years of service.

Fragments of the bow (stem) and the stern (sternpost, sternpost curve and two shell plating pieces).
